A photo from the hospital that Shaquille O’Neal posted online Sunday night raised some questions.
The four-time NBA champion posted a picture of himself lying in a hospital bed wearing a hospital gown and a hat, writing that he had been watching Ernie Johnson and Candace Parker and had missed them.
But, Shaq withheld any additional information. Yet, an editor of Awful Announcing reported that Ernie Johnson may have mentioned undergoing hip surgery during the NCAA Tournament. Johnson did not make that assertion on a broadcast, according to OutKick.
The Lakers legend and any other significant news organisation have not confirmed that. Perhaps that is the case given Johnson’s connection.
Following a hospital photo, many express concern for Shaq.
Many became concerned right away because there isn’t much information available about why Shaq is in the hospital, except from EJ’s assertion.
Roy Hibbert and Steve Smith, among other well-known figures, wished Shaq well and hoped it wasn’t a major matter.
Hopefully, everything is okay.
Obviously, everyone is hoping Shaq is okay and hip replacement would be much better than something more serious.
Shaq is 51 and played a very long time in the NBA. Given his size and the physical beatings he’s taken over the years, it’s not hard to understand why he might have needed hip surgery.
The man was a machine on the court. Shaq was a monster. Sometimes after you play a sport for a decade, you have to get your body tuned up.
