Women’s Rights – advantages of maternity rights
The Maternity Benefit Act permits women to take a complete 6-month vacation after giving birth without having their wages affected. It is a regulation that controls how maternity benefits and other benefits are offered, as well as how women are employed in particular enterprises at particular times before and after giving birth.
Women’s Rights – right to uncompensated legal representation
In order to undertake a case or legal action in a court, tribunal, or before a judicial authority, legal assistance refers to the provision of legal services to the disadvantaged and women who are unable to retain an attorney. Women who have been sexually abused are also given free legal rights under the Indian Constitution.
Women’s Rights – Right to identity and name-related privacy
The right to remain anonymous and the right to have their statements recorded in front of a female police officer or constable are both available to victims of rape or sexual assault.
